Hello. I'm planning to replace the stock thermal pads Dell provided on my laptop with 3M thermal pads.

However, the only thickness I can get is 1.5mm. Is it too thick for my laptop?

    Thanks. :)

Don't know. I took off the heatsink and the thermal pads literally fell apart into little pieces. I didn't have any thermal pads so I used Arctic Silver 5 paste. Temps for the CPU are definitely better. Temps for the GPU are the same as before so I'm not worried.
