    Studio 1535 Will 800mhz memory run?

    Looking at upgrading my memory and need to know if 800mhz will run at 800mhz on my studio 1535 laptop.

    As far as I know. 800mhz DDR2 RAM will run in the 1535 but it will downclock to 667mhz to match the FSB of the chipset.

    K well im about to order a T9500 at thats at 800mhz will that make a diff?

    Depnding on what you're doing, you might seen some increased performance over the T6400, but it still won't make your memory run at 800MHz. 800MHz memory, of course, won't provide any performance increase over 667MHz memory either.

    My old Studio 1535 had a T9500 with 4GB of 667MHz RAM. There's really no significant difference in the RAM speeds when compared to my current 800MHz memory.
