Studio 1535 very hot charger, hdd, left palm rest

Hello guys.
I used my Studio 1535 without problem about 4-5 months and temperatures were fine.
But from some time I have very strange problem.
First my charger became relatively very hot, my mother consider it as very hot as well.
After my hard disk becomes hot 39-40 C, and now I guess as result from fan system and HDD high temperature, my left palm rest (typically warm on most notebooks) is hot too.
Today I removed the battery so my computer works only on charger but the situation is the same.
other temperatures CPU,GPU... are in normal ranges.

Someone with IDEA?
It is summer in Bulgaria, under my charger has terracotta, and under my computer - glass.
So they must be cool.

I have some strange feeling about the charger, because sometimes when I try to plug it into "contact" it makes sparkles.

its fine i swear The charger has electricity going through it hours and hours a day its going to get very very HOT

and 39-40c is fine for a hard drive .... it is spinning 5,000 times a minute......

I have to agree for HDD.The HDD temperature for first 3-4 months were 33-34 C all the time, now it is 38-39-40 after only 2 hours office work.
But I have to agree.

But for the charger.I remember I and my mother were on symposium, and I used the notebook only for 30 minutes in the hotel room.and After the adaptor was so hot, we were afraid to put in the bag.

 

you you were doing alot of work on the HD as far as saving and working with data intensive stuff it will heat up

Also you vents could be getting clogged try cleaning them out

 

I clean them regulary, but I will give a try.

did you use HWmonitor to get your temps?

but judging from the fan speed - CPU and GPU temperatures are normal.
the only real problem is the palm rest.
I'm sure left palm rest is affected by HDD, because when HDD is cool, the left palm rest is only warm.
and vice versa.
the questions here is:
HDD gets hot by itself -> result hot left palm rest
Vs
hot AC adapter -> result hot HDD -> result hot left palm rest

 

no the AC adapter is not making your HD hot ....

The hard drive gets hot when its under heavy usage ....Also having your palm on it doesn't help

Any way 40c is nothing to worry about alot of laptops palm rest get hot ....and AC adapters get hot ... my M17 power adapter was 3x larger then urs

For the record, the left palmrest is directly over the RAM modules; the hard drive is on the right. The memory does get pretty warm after a while.

But from my practise, somehow when the HDD gets hot, the left palm rest too
and vice versa

The HDD temperature now is 40 C, and the left palm rest is not very comfortable hot too.

 

The left palm rest gets hot when your HDD gets hot probably because of the increased RAM + HDD activity. I'm running an SSD, which runs cooler than the 320GB 5400RPM Scorpio Blue I had before, and the left palm rest gets hot regardless.

 

yes.but before I had superfetch (or someting like...) on and it loaded my hard disk more.
Now everything is off, and I monitored my hard disk - its activity is minimal.
