I have the above mentioned notebook and I was wondering is is possible to get different audio output from each of the two plugs that are available?

    Thanks a lot :)

Using the IDT control panel, you can configure the three ports to be front, center, and rear audio outputs if you have a 5.1 surround sound system. What exactly do you mean by different audio output?

I think he means having two different audio channels. Like someone can watch a movie while another listens to music. I don't think that is possible though.

Yes JohnByeBye, this is exacly what I meant, what I want to do is setup something like a amateur DJ station and play two different songs at the same time, one on speakers the other one on a headset.

I tried for a while to do this with Tracktor Pro, but had no luck.

I tried every configuration but couldn't for the life of me get one tune playing in the headphones and one through the speakers.

Shame cos i have some lovely electro here just begging to be mixed :p

You'd need a second soundcard or a pair of USB headphones/speakers.
