I have a Studio 1537 that I use with a Presonus Firebox to record audio, and I've always had problems with the firewire interface. Popping and clicking noises, breaks in the audio where I have to restart, times where I just can't get the thing running smoothly to record.

I know there is a long thread about this, but it's pretty old and most of the comments weren't about this particular line. I have the RICOH firewire.

I've always turned off the wireless card to record, and that helps a bit but doesn't solve everything. I recently tried disabling the CD/DVD drive and that hasn't yet worked. Any suggestions?
