I have all the current drivers from Dell.com and everything. And when I try to watch a movie or anything with headphones it doesnt play all the channels. Like in movies it wont play full voices, in music it fades in and out. But only when using one of the headphone jacks.

    Any ideas?

Maybe your system is set up as 5.1 instead of 2.0/2.1? Or you need an AC3 filter that works better? Not too sure. Do you use VLC for movies?

I finally uninstalled all of the audio drivers one by one. It had the HDMI and the High Def DTI drivers installed, and it started to work fine once I uninstalled the HDMI autio driver. No idea why that would have anything to do with it, but I found an older HDMI driver that doesnt cause the headphone problem.
