Hey guys,
My girl I am seeing has a Studio 1555, and it looks like someone has stepped on it as there is a giant crack that goes across the screen.
I would like to fix it for her....
I felt the screen and it doesn't feel cracked at the LCD, is there a cover in front of the LCD panel?
I have her service code and it looks like its a 15.6" WXGA
Can anybody confirm this?
I'm looking on ebay and there seems to be WXGA+ LCD's? Will they work? If so, that'd be a nice upgrade for her.
Anything tricky about replacing the LCD or is it pretty straightforward?

Make sure you follow the steps. And be super careful with the bezel. Sometimes there is double sided tape and you will destroy the plastic tabs which lock the bezel in place if you yank too hard. -
Thanks. I'll consider it...
Connectors are the same too? -
