    Hey guys,

My girl I am seeing has a Studio 1555, and it looks like someone has stepped on it as there is a giant crack that goes across the screen.

I would like to fix it for her....
I felt the screen and it doesn't feel cracked at the LCD, is there a cover in front of the LCD panel?

I have her service code and it looks like its a 15.6" WXGA
    Can anybody confirm this?

I'm looking on ebay and there seems to be WXGA+ LCD's? Will they work? If so, that'd be a nice upgrade for her.

Anything tricky about replacing the LCD or is it pretty straightforward?

    Thanks. I'll consider it...

    Connectors are the same too?
