I am going to be going on a trip to Europe in a month and I need to search out a couple travel adapters.

I need to find one that I can use with my Studio 1555 laptop. My current adapter does not have a slot for the ground plug that the Dell Studio 1555 power brick comes with. Can anyone recommend a good travel adapter to use with the Studio 1555.

Also, could anyone recommend a good adapter to use in an airplane?

    Thanks!

For the actual power brick, all you need is a physical adapter such that you can connect your US power brick to a European outlet. The bricks themselves are rated to run at US and European voltages and does not need another transformer. Any cheap thing will do; there's nothing to break in these physical adapters.

I'm not sure what's the deal with airplane adapters. From my experience, different planes and different airlines have different outlets, so I don't know how you're supposed to account for that. If you're lucky you'll fly a plane that has US outlets, though.
