Studio 1555 should redesign its keyboard into this![]()

Include the following:
*Device status lights (Wifi, Bluetooth, Hard drive)
*Numpad
*Display and keyboard backlit brightness function key back to arrow section
*Sleep button
*Stop button
*Numlock button
I am very dissapointed when I see the Studio 1555's keyboard does not include Numpad, Sleep Stop Numlock buttons, Device status lights. It is not easy to press F1-F12 as it require user to hold fn key first. I use F1-F12 frequent than the External display, Wireless switch, battery and the Display and keyboard backlit brightness keys, so I really don't like the F1-F12 in Studio 1555. And the Display and keyboard backlit brightness keys are wasting 3 spaces for Sleep, Stop and Numlock buttons.
So I redesigned it, hope Dell can use this design in New Studio.

Do you agree with me?

I agree. I am a fan of the touch media controls. I'm surprised they scrapped it altogether rather than fix the issues. *sigh* The icon on the right arrow is nice though, why they didn't add that for the 1535-1537 models is beyond me.

I am a fan of the touch media controls too, but due to the frustrating problem of the media controls, I rather they scapped it altogether with the keyboard

I agree, the keyboard design is simply not good.
No indication of wifi/bluetooth and many other parameters by other means is simply a handicap for users of studio. -
My 1535's illuminated keyboard has one. That icon is only there on the backlit models, because that's the shortcut key (Fn+Right arrow) to toggle the key backlights.
-
One thing I noticed about Studio 1555's keyboard is that it's a lot more solid than the old Studio.

Oh...haha. I thought they would have put the icon on both keyboard models, but on the standard keyboard it wouldn't do anything. Silly me.
