I purchased a Dell studio 1555 laptop in 2009. I'm not too good with computers, but it had a core 2 duo processor with 2 gigs of ram. I also purchased the complete care plan with it. I had spilled soda all over it and sent it in and they said that it is beyond repair. I haven't heard back from them in a week though. The status of it said that I would probably get a replacement laptop. I'm pretty sure they don't have studio's anymore, so any idea what an equivalent laptop I would get would be? Also, has anybody else had experience with getting a replacement through the complete care plan?

I've seen Inspiron replacement or XPS replacement, all depends on which Customer Service rep you get. See if you can push for XPS replacement as it will have higher resale value and better overall options.
