Can I use unevenly paired RAM sticks in my 1555, or would that turn off dual channel memory? Say if I got a 4GB stick of RAM for 6GB total, same speed. If it does turn off dual channel, how big an impact does that make on Core 2 Duo processors?

    Thanks

Dual-channel has little performance impact on everyday tasks. If you are gaming on an IGP, you might notice higher frame rates. Dual-channel will not be disabled if you have two RAM sticks of different size.

Dual channel performance is a marketing gig, it makes no real world performance differences.
