Just curious, a search didn't produce useful results - has anyone replaced the thermal pad on the 1558, and if so, what was the gap like? Did you need a shim, or do the surfaces mate properly? I don't really feel like taking the HS off to inspect only to discover I wrecked the pad and need to get a new one.
