I have a 1737 with RGB LED, but I have no way to confirm it other than accepting what Dell says.

to anyone with a 1737 with RGB LED are you happy with the Black Levels, I have never found that it delivers True Deep Blacks.

If you're that paranoid that Dell ripped you off on your display (you've posted this in a million other threads), then look at it yourself. Remove your display assembly, take it apart and physically look at your LED backlights.
