    Hi all.

I have a Dell Studio 17, with vista.
I want to be able to dual boot with XP, but am needing a raid driver.
I have installed XP on a partition on the hard drive but if I want to boot up XP I have to change the option in the bios, which does get a bit of a pain.

So does anyone have an xp raid driver for the studio 17?

    Cheers.

There is no word of RAID found if you look at Studio 17 specifications. AFAIK, the 2 drives are not RAID-able.

I'm not trying to raid the drives. I need a driver to be able to use the drive on the sata controller.

Which version is your Studio? 1735 (PM/GM965 chipset with ICH8 southbridge) or 1737 (PM/GM45 chipset with ICH9 southbridge)?

If you know which one, then you should be able to download the SATA controller driver from intel website:
