    How do I remove and replace the back cover?

    Mines cracked near the hinge

    Mine too, cracked on the left corner. A chip is missing from the right corner. The coloring seems to be wearing a bit and has some weird spots where the paint has gone shiny. I'm kind of disappointed in the QA on exterior, even thought I love the rest of this machine.

    Where'd you get the replacement lid?

    same, the user manual tell you how to remove the display.


    but the back panel is a seperate item so not really what we need to know.


    NDC sell them for £15

    Reading through the page it does show how to change out the back panel. You use the instructions for removing the actual display panel LCD itself. Then you just reverse them using the new back panel instead of the old one.
