Hello all. I've been trying to monitor the temperature of my CPU, HDD and GPU. I'm currently using HWMonitor 1.1. However, whilst CPU and HDD temperatures show up, the GPU doesn't show up at all. Has anyone else tried HWMonitor on the Studio 17? What temperature monitoring programs do you use that can monitor GPU, CPU and HDD? I had a search and rivatuner (sp?) came up, so i might try that.

Yeah, on my Studio, the GPU temps don't show with hw either.

Using Speedfan, I see 4 temperatures. One's for the hard drive, two are for the processor (core 0 and core 1), and the last one is named "Temp 1" by default. I assume "Temp 1" is the GPU...

Are you sure the "Temp 1" isn't the ACPI (as in, one of the bridges or something). If you run Furmark or another graphic intensive program, does Temp 1 increase dramatically? If not, it's probably not the GPU. I still wish I could find a program that I knew for sure was monitoring the GPU.

Temp1 is definitely not the GPU temp. I can overclock the hell out of the GPU and that temperature will remain the same. I don't believe there is a built in sensor for the GPU..
Studio 17 temperature monitoring?
