Whenever I increase or decrease my brightness or volume there will be a volume tray or brightness tray displaying on my screen for a while. but now it is missing. Not only for the brightness and volume, but also for the capslock and numlock. When i press this button, normally there will be a small indication box appear on my screen, but now there is no more indication. Any idea whats the problem?

    Thanks.

Make sure you have the Dell QuickSet software installed; it's what gives you those on-screen indications of brightness, volume, Caps Lock status, etc.
