    Hello all

I have a Studio 17, and its been fine for a few months, but lately Im finding out that often times it wont resume from sleep mode, or hybernation mode. Sometimes I just click on " Save Session and shut off computer" option, and it sometimes wont resume from that either.

Other than those issues everything runs just fine. The other day I turned it on to resume from the sleep mode and got the blue screen of death saying Irql greater or not equal to error.

Anyone else having this issue on thier Studio 17 ? Im wondering if this is a BIOS issue and I might need to re install the BIOS, or possibly video driver issue.

    Thankyou,

Yeah, I'm having a sleep issue too. I don't have anything automatic setting the computer to sleep, I just manually sleep it when I'm done using it. The power light blinks, but then hours later, when I'm ready to turn it back on, the light is on solid, not blinking anymore, and nothing will get the computer running again, unless I hold the power button till the light turns off, then press it again to restart the computer from scratch.
    Really annoying! Any ideas?

There's some peripherical that are long sometimes to wake up. Wait 2 min, and it will come back from sleep, and everything will be alright.

Edit : I did not identify yet what exactly is causing this trouble, but I'll post it when I'd figure it out.
