    Right now my only computer is a borrowed Iphone on wifi...the 200px screen is driving me crazy!

    I want to buy a Studio 17; but rumors make me think that it will be refreshed soon.
    Is waiting it out a viable solution? I don't want to buy a 17 and then have it become obsolete 2 weeks later.....

    I hear ya dude. I wanted to buy one too until I heard about that. I'm just gonna wait until the end of October.

    There's no indication that it will be refreshed at all, much less any time soon. If you're going to buy one, buy one.

    As mastershroom stated, I've heard no indication that the Studio 17 is going to be refreshed any time soon, if at all. I'd say buy a computer when you need one; otherwise you'll be always waiting for the next best thing to release.

    I am wondering the same thing. But the thing I keep thinking is what are they going to add that is not there right now. Plus you can get a very good deal on the current model.
