Hey guys, I was playing with configuration options for the Dell Studio 1737 last night and while I was playing around, the RGB LED FULL HD screen option came back as a screen option. It wasn't there the few moments ago. So yeah, just wanted to let you all know.

Im glad to see them offering this option again. I sure would like to hear from someone who has received one with some more details. I heard alittle from someone on the forum but they didnt give much detail about the screen.

I promise as soon as I get mine (hopefully Mon) that I will give a full report on the picture quality. I wish I had called when mine got delayed and got expedited shipping because now Im sitting here waiting to receive it ground and it was shipped on Monday.

I was surprised to find that the Dell Precision already offers this screen too but at a higher price.

Yeah, delays aren't fun. jet757f, did you happen to get the 64-bit Windows Home Premium OS? I ask because I placed my order through my Target EPP, and I picked the system (there was only one) that offered 64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium. The problem is, the order hasn't posted to my account, but the link in the e-mail will pull it up and it shows just regular Windows Vista Home Premium. On the order confirmation e-mail, each component is listed and then either a number for the component or several numbers for the component is listed, I am guessing these are numbers for different components that do the same thing. My Vista 64-bit OS on my new Studio 1737 shows a different number than my returned Vista 32-bit 1735. Maybe on the e-mail it says 64-bit and the order page on Dell doesn't say?

I just got regular Vista and these are the numbers maybe they will help you determine what you got:
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1
    -- [330-1800]
    -- [420-5769]
    -- [420-6436]
    -- [420-7622]
    -- [420-8223]
    -- [420-8566]
    -- [420-9100]
    -- [463-2282]

I have 2 homebuilt computers one with Vista 32 and the other with Vista 64 and cant really tell the difference both are stable. I think the main advantage is being able to read over 3gb of memory.
