    I'm getting fragmentation problems on my backup drive and extended diagnostics are running clean, so I feel my next step is to reformat the drive but I don't know how to do it. Help please.

    I'm assuming it's just a data drive? Can you not see the drive in the Windows Disk Partitioning utility?
