Just purchased (from Dell Outlet) a Studio 1747 with the 1080p screen and the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 video card, but the highest available resolution is in Catalyst Control Center is 1600 x 900 @ 60Hz. I've updated the ATI driver and talked to Dell tech support, neither of which has helped. Does anyone have any advice for achieving the correct resolution?

sounds like you've got the wrong screen. I'd be asking for a replacement (demanding!)

Dell blames the video card, but agreed to send me a replacement laptop with my exact specs. When I checked the Dell website earlier the new laptop they sent me (should be here Thurs) is a totally different spec, and according the invoice does NOT have the 1080p B+RG screen.

I was really hoping it was just some sort of driver error with the original laptop, but it's beginning to sound like I'll be returning two 1747 laptops.
