This month A14 bios were released, as usual with no useful release notes. Anyone know what it changed? Being a computer engineer, I found dell's answer to be....full of sh!t.

before I look Im guessing they fixed a LoJack issue
Edit : Well I might be wrong. No mention to the "fixes"
But I know it has a 5 series chipset and 3 other laptops got BIOS updates the past week (or so) to fix some kind of LoJack problem -
Just updated mine and was having a look through when i noticed a setting for computrace, so like a fool I changed it to see what options it had and now its activated and will not deactivate!! After looking on net it seems its not going to turn off

Yep.It tells you in the BIOS that once enabled it cant be disabled.
I have never figured out why this is? -
I did not even save the changes. -
Well I know what its for but just dont get why you cant disable it..
Why cant it just be password protected or something -

So it didn't better my motherboard after all

Anyone know how to rollback to a13. I have tried running the a13 bios installer from windows but it will not flash an older bios.
