    Hi everyone,
I have a 1749 with I5 and 8 gigs of ram. I'm running a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate. I have the 1080p screen and the 5750 video card(I think that is the number).
Any way it works well for most things except when gaming. Games play good and have high enough frame rates but during play it will randomly freeze/hand for a couple of seconds and then go on. This will happen every couple of minutes for no reason. I have run temp monitors and cpu monitors and the temps are never very high, 50-70c at most and when the system hangs the cpu drops to 0% used.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Perhaps you have a failing hard drive? See if your hard drive is giving off SMART warnings. If you did a clean install and reinstalled the games, it may not be software. Also see how many running processes you have.
