    Hi,
I'm shiny and new so apologies if this is a duplication.
I want to upgrade my wireless card to 1520 ( DELL Wireless 1520 (11agn) WLAN Half-Height mini-Card for Select Dell Systems : Networking - Wireless & Wired | Dell)
So that I can use 802.11n, obviously my current card does not support this.
The sales people at dell couldn't give me any motherboard specs and technical support were only slightly more use.
    Has anyone upgraded their card?
If so I appreciate a confirmation it works and any thing worth noting.
    Thanks

You should be able to go to any half height mini PCI-E WLAN card, I would shy away from all Dell ones as driver support is usually awful. I would go with an Intel 5300 or 6200. Dell does not whitelist WLAN cards in BIOS.

Thanks, that's what I though but Dell's 'support' shook my confidence. I'll give it a go and post my results.

Perfect. Plug and play basically, I installed the Intel 6200 cable 1 is white, 2 black. The default card marked them by colour not number.
