Hello to all.I'm very sad to annonce this.
I had crackling sound. My motherboard was complete replaced before 1 hour.
We started it.And It was with BIOS Version 02 (hm very old BIOS)
Windows reinitialized my drivers, because the motherboard replacent.
My sound was fine, no crackling, no problems.
I dedicated to update to BIOS VERSION A5.
Immediately after I updated with Version A 5 - the crackling sound issue was here.
I tried to put again version A 2 from the website.
But after I putted A2 version - the BIOS just didn't want to recognize my battery and the crackling issue WAS NOT FIXED.
STRANGE DELL HAS 2 DIFFERENT BIOS VERSION - my first 02 - was complete OK (no battery and no crackling problems)
So now I'm with Version 3 and the crackling persist!
    HOW IT IS POSSIBLE?!!!!!!!!!!

IS VERSION 05 HARMED MY HARDWARE AGAIN OR WHAT?

The S15 has some annoying BIOS problems involving the battery, audio, and/or the fan running at max RPM for no reason. Unfortunately there appears to be no fix for this other than randomly testing different BIOS versions. Hopefully Dell will notice this problem and take the initiative by issuing a new BIOS.

    OK but.
    HOW IT IS POSSIBLE...
After we put the motherboard IT WAS WITH VERSION 2!
    EVERYTHING WAS FINE!
NO UNIDENTIFY BATTERY AND NO CRACKLING (THE CRACKLING WAS MY PROBLEM)

AND "THE SAME" VERSION FROM THE WEBSITE:
    HARD CRACKLING + UNIDENTIFY BATTERY

NOW I MUST BE WITH CRACKLING SOUND :(

FROM WHERE I MUST GET DEFAULT GOOD BIOS 2 VERSION?

I'm sorry, what do you mean by "unpublic"? My understanding is that there is only one version of A02...

TO MAKE IT CLEAR BECAUSE MY ENGLISH:
FIRST START WITH NEW MOTHERBOARD - original BIOS 2 - everything Fine
Update to BIOS A5 (from the website)- the crackling problem exist
Down again to BIOS A2 (from the website this time) - no battery + crackling

If original BIOS 2 (on my motherboard) is the SAME with BIOS A2 (from the website) - why no battery + crackling exist on with BIOS 2 (from the website).

Sadly now I don't copy of motherboard's original BIOS and I will listening music with crackling....
