    Studio palm rest options?

    Hi I'm new to the forum and just joined after I have been researching the new Dell Studio 15 yesterday.

    I read on this site and on others that the Studio has the option of different designs on the palm rest. I found some older pages that showed designs by an artist (I forget his name) that were ment to be used, however I can't find an official confirmation of this anywhere.

    The Studios that have been reviewed seem to have this "Topography" pattern, and one other I read had something that looked like seaspray but it had no image.

    Anyways on the dell site there is no option to choose a design, or get rid of it incase of the (default?) Topo pattern, I think it's ugly.

    I'm wanting to buy the Studio 15 next week (since the German dell has a pretty neat offer on it at the moment= I live in Germany) and I really just wanted to know if this is an option that is just a rumour, or something that is confirmed and will be added to the options list shortly.
    Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    And yeah I'm a girl, I care about pretty patterns on laptops ;)

    Thanks ESLE, yeah thats the only picture I've seen of any palm rest patterns so far. I don't really like it, it kinda looks like a stain to me :/

    Did you see a different pattern on the Studio 15?

    Yup. It looks like you spilled a drink on it and it dried up.
    I hope they have better palmrest patterns than that.

    I wish they had an option for the interior pattern. I like the topo pattern especially if you are getting the graphite gray. It seem that it has been discontinued.
    I wish they bring it back, or give you the choice, just like you do for the lid.
