Hi, got my studio17 yesterday and I can take some pictures of it tonight and post them. Its grey with the blue trim, the 1440*900 LED screen and blu-ray player.

I was going to take pictures of it closed, open, from the side, playing a blu-ray, and the keyboard back light. Any requests for other shots of it in action?

BTW, not that its a reliable benchmark, but the ATI card got a 4.9 in the windows experience score, i think that was tied for the lowest with the memory. I believe the CPU was the highest at 5.6.

Can you flip it over and take a shot of the bottom?

I would like to see something to determine the thickness. Maybe a AA battery or a soda can next to it or something.

Pictures of the screen on your desktop please, and don't forget the studio playing a blu-ray :)

If anyone wants more or different pictures just let me know, I know the ones with the screen on didn't turn out to great so if someone wants to see better ones I can try again with a better camera later this week.

Good God that screen is beautiful (the 2nd one of the desktop). It shows off the high def screen better than any other pics on the forums ;)

Can't wait until my Studio 15 arrives.

The screen is very nice, very bright and crisp, pictures do not do it justice. The only thing I am kinda unhappy with so far is the sound, it's not very loud and kinda subpar. I think I'm going to have to invest in a pair of portable speakers.

I'm able to stretch over three hours of battery life on my 6-cell, but that's with Wi-Fi off, the screen at half brightness, and the computer in "Power Saver" mode. Still, I can do all usual tasks and I'd say three hours is pretty darn good for a 17" incher on a 6-cell.
