    Stupid vista question on my vostro1500

    Recently got a new vostro 1500. pretty happy with it....

    for whatever reason, the taskbar on the bottom of the screen where it shows what windows you have opened is always DIM, except if my current window is opened full screen. if the window isn't maximized, the darn task bar is much dimmer. very picky, but it bugs me, haha. i cant figure out how to get it to NOT be dim, even when apps aren't maximized. any ideas?

    What theme/color are you using? What wallpaper? What are your brightness settings? Did you change the above and check? If you have tried and still face problems, it could be a hardware issue and for that you need to call Dell!
