I am very happy to report that I was able to do the copper mod to the GPU (based on the guide on this site), upgrade to a Gigabyte 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi card with external antenna, and add a Bluetooth module so I could use my headset with Skype. All this was on my Dell Inspiron e1505.

Whew. Way too much to retype in here. But you are welcome to check out my post about the entire project here.

    Lots of pictures available too.
