I was recently called Dell about some issues with my Dell X1 and the support guy mentionied they had a successor to the Dell X1 nearing the end of development. Im wondering does anyone have any information on this? Thanks.

Apparently there are two models going to be out by June 31st or around that time frame.

That would be the Latitude D420, it's going to replace both the X1 and D410.

Here's a forum thread that has more info and a bunch of specs.

Ty for the info, i was under the impression there is one that is a direct successor to the X1 though. He mentioned 200-something.

the x1 is a rebranded samsung (i think the Q30).

samsung has updated their model (i think to the Q35).

check out samsung's site for details. they don't sell in the US, so i usually check out their Hong Kong site since it has english.

EDIT: here's the HK Samsung site

yeah, the Q30 is the X1 and the Q35 is the Q30's successor.
