Hello, I came for some suggestions on a RAM upgrade. When I bought my Inspiron 6000, I was a looking for a bit more money savings, and though I shouldn't have, I only got 512mb of RAM. Looking back, it may have been the better choice, as I can put PC2 4200 ram in it now. Anyways, I plan to upgrade to 2gb of RAM, and I'm not very knowledgeable about different types, so I came for help in deciding between three, or even get some suggestions.

    1) Kingston 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Notebook Memory - Retail (KVR533D2S4/1G)

    2) Crucial 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Notebook Memory - OEM (CT12864AC53E)

    3) KINGMAX DDRII Series 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Notebook Memory - Retail (KSBD48F-A8)

I'm leaning towards the Crucial, but what are your views?

Thank you for any help or insight.

I would go for the kingston or crucial. Are you buying from newegg.com? Transcend memory is in the range of 80-90 I think. I like the ocz ram.

Yes, I'm buying from newegg. I can buy any from that category (PC2 4200, 1GB, 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM, etc.), but I want to avoid the Coursair. Good memory, but I'm planning on ~$200 for two sticks, not $330 for two sticks. I'm a bit hesitant to buy Transcend or ocz, as I've never used them before.
