    What time would be best to order it so I get it a few days after I get back?

    I don't want to wait for my laptop but I cannot order it just yet, due to some issues I need to deal with. And alternatively I don't have time to use it between now and until I get back so yeah.

    I've been hearing that it'll take more than a week to ship and then a few days obviously to get to my house...

    So yeah, and are the 14.1 inch Vostros on backlog? I heard that the 15.4 inch ones were o_O;

    Order it ASAP! lol I ordered an HP and it actually arrived like a week early, just in time before I left for a week to visit the East Coast to look at colleges. :) Perfect timing.

    Laptops typically take at least a week and a half before they are shipped, plus in-transit time. I would say to be safe, I think you should be fine ordering on the 18th or 19th - but this is just me personally, maybe others would advise differently...

    What does that have to do with Dells? I'm wondering since it may be on backorder. So it may get here..when I'm out for a week.

    well i ordered a vostro monday night 1500 version. It says its not even gonna ship until the first of august.
