Just wondering if I will run into any problems replacing my dead 7900 with a refurbished x1400 from Dell?

Isnt it as simple as swapping out the cards and reloading drivers, or is there a crucial stop Im missing?

No, I doubt it, but it will be huge down grade on your end, especially if you are a gamer.

I would just get 2500M/7900GTX/3500M/7950GTX from reputable Ebay seller, at around 200 bucks.

You would have to break a little piece of bottom housing for the second pipe though.

    Why wouldn't u just get another 7900?

But if you really wanted to do just that, then it's as simple as taking out the card and putting in the new one.

I don't think Dell has single pipe 7900GS cards anymore, that's why he's considering it.
