    Switching the Vostro's color casing to an Inspiron one - possible?

    Someone mentioned on here they knew someone who had switched out the Vostro faceplate with a colored Inspiron one they ordered on dell.com for about $40.

    Does anyone know if this is actually possible and can provide instruction on how to do it?

    AND... would this void the warranty??

    It was just replacing the lid, not the whole case.
