Vista business is just not as impressive as I would like it to be...

    I have a dell 830d.

I have installed XP on my desktop before and I believe i have all the drivers I will be needing...

Is there anything else I should know?

Just like a desktop. Be aware that your HD is set to run native SATA and not in IDE mode. Thus you will need drivers on a USB Floppy or slipstream into your install.

I may just stick it out with vista busienss and upgrade my programs that are casuing the issues.

I am running adobe creative suite CS1.. I need to upgrade to CS3 and all should be OK.

I would look into some tweaks as well. Vista is a pretty decent OS once you cut away alot of the excess fat ;)

thanks. I'm loving my 830d, and was worried, but I have everything setup perfect right now and want to keep up to date with the latest in technology, ie. windows vista.

I'll see about tweaking it.. i'll do a search here.
