    Hey guys,

    I was messing around last night and decided to try out the new Synaptics driver that was modded for the Acer Gemstone series. Works on my Vostro!

    Perhaps it was luck, but I don't see why it wouldn't work on any computer really...keep in mind, I don't even have a Synaptics touchpad, it's and ALPS touchpad =).

    Beyond the ChiralMotion & 2-finger scrolling it also has many other definable 2-finger & 3-finger settings.

    no BSOD, but Chiral motion doesn't work.. Neither does two finger scrolling..

    Stinky..honestly the chiral-motion is neat, but I ended up not using it. I did keep the drivers for the 2/3 finger options though.

    And the 2-finger scrolling is odd, b/c it only scrolls on-screen after you lift up your fingers.
