I removed this from my start up items but lately I'm thinking I want it back. My question is I can't find it in program files. I'd like to be able to scroll windows with the touchpad again. How do I find and open it or turn it back on?

Hold the Windows logo key, and hit "R" to open the Run dialog box. Type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and run that. This opens the System Configuration window. Go to the "Startup" tab of this window, and you can select what services and processes to run on Windows startup. The Synaptics driver should be on that list. Check the box, hit Apply, and you're set. :)
