I am trying to get my Studio 15 to factory conditions but I am running into two BIG problems:

    1) When I press F8, I get no option to "Repair Your System"

    2) The Dell Vista reinstall disk does not have to option for OS Restore on it

pleas help as I need to do this ASAP!

I think u may hav deleted the diagnostics partition. Try booting from the Media direct DVD.

The PCRestore app did not work from within windows so I had to use the Command Prompt on the Windows Vista disk (under repair you pc)

This is what I was instructed to do by Dell

    path d:\Windows;d:\windows\system32
    d:
    CD TOOLS
    PCRestore
