    Can I upgrade my Inspiron 1520 Pentium Dual-Core T2330 to a Core 2 Duo CPU ?

By the looks of things the T2330 uses Socket P the same as many C2D's.

    Many Thanks.

With most laptops you cannot upgrade the GPU's or the CPU's, since they are attached to the mainboard. In order to upgrad ethese you need to replace the entire mainboard - in which case you may as well go for a new laptop!

In not 100% sure on your particular model, but its more then likely that the processor cannot be upgraded that easily, and it would have to be the entire mainboard. Is it really worth it? Thats up to you to decide! ;)

Yes you can, In M1520 and in most other DELL notebooks, processor can be replaced. But why would you want to do it? Don’t buy a low end CPU hoping to upgrade later, because usually that would be more expensive, and since the processor is not a user upgradeable part you may run in to warranty issues as well.
