    I mentioned this a while ago in a smaller thread with some guy who was a having a problem with his notebook. If you're too lazy to reformat (which I am because I'm like that) there is a way to RESET YOUR DELL to factory settings.

    The dell reps only tell you how if youre comps really messed up.

    Restart your computer. As its restarting hold down CTRL + F11 (before the XP screen). Your computer will make a lot of beeping sounds and a new screen will pop up. Just follow directions and youre computer will be as good as new (literally, with all the bloatware and stuff).

    Yes, this is true. You can use the Dell Restore function to do this, and I believe there is a program installed in XP that allows you to do this. You can only do this if you have not reformatted or edited your partitions in any way.

    While this is good information, we do have a limit on how many stickies we can have. I'll see if i can put it in the format guide.

    course this only works I guess if you have your windows image on the hd still. ;)
