So does anyone know what type of resolution the Dell TV tuner card records at? Also I just ordered a Dell E1505 for college and wanted to know whether I should call them back and tack on the TV Tuner for about $120 or whether I should buy another one connected to my computer through a USB from like new egg or soemthing. Suggestions appreciated.

I think it depends on which tuner you get. The Hauppauge USB2 says that it can go up to full screen.

Ur-ExWife: There are some internal TV tuners (depending on what model/manufacturer you order). There is also a few PCMCIA/PC Express slot tuners. There are some that are also wireless. AFAIK, they only hook up your satellite/cable to a usb device which is then hooked up to your laptop.

so what should I do? Get Dell to add the TV Tuner Card with my order and switch to Media Edition XP or just buy one on my own?
