Okay, so when I bought my Inspiron 1520 back in early July, I thought "I'll skip some of the accessories, and buy them later if I want them"

Only Dell isnt selling some of the accessories separately yet...

Ive managed to find some 9-cell batteries on Ebay (I got one for $16 today, after overspending $70 for one yesterday) but I havent seen any of the Dell ExpressCard TV tuners come up yet.

What can anyone tell me about these TV Tuners? I would prefer not to have a USB one - unless someone can tell me a benefit of the USB ones over Expresscard ones...

All I can find readily available are a few HP branded ones, such as these two:

    (digital/Analog one)
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220150318171

    (Analog one)
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220150794931

Does anyone have experience with expresscard TV tuners on the inspiron laptops yet?

Does anyone have a link to the Dell website for refurbished TV tuners from returned systems? (Thats how I got my remote cheaply)

Is there any real difference between expresscard ones and USB ones?

Thanks for any insight anyone can offer
    -Mike

Thanks for the link. That Chiefmax AD-AU500 doesnt seem to come with all the bells and whistles (antennaes, remote control, remote control sensor) that the other ones do.

Does it do anything better than the HP ones?

I have no problems with USB 2.0 hauppauge hvr-950 running on my Vostro 1500. It's OTA HD/SD receiver with QAM support.
I got it for $80 from Circuit City + $20 mail rebate.
