    Taking off m1530 keys?

    Is it possible? One of my keys are sticky from coke :) haha...


    My desktop keyboard snaps off but i dont think its the same with laptops. thanks.

    Yeah I just figured out how to take them off today (I have m1330). If you put your fingernail (or knife etc.) underneath the top portion of the key and pull up it will eventually pop off.

    You have to be careful putting them back on. Most of them have a little metal u-shaped rod that has to face down, and there are little slots you have to slide it into on the laptop.

    This is all assuming the 1530 is the same, which I am sure it is :p

    haha i'm really scared, the key i want to take off is the arrow key and i pulled the top part of it and i heard a crack and i got so scared. but it "snaps" back into place.... am i doing it right?

    yeah, but it didn't come off lol, just a snap.. then i pushed it back and another snap

    EDIT: okay i got it. don't pull the plastic thing attached to the key :)
