I Recently purchased an XPS1330 loaded for about 1700 dollars. Tax, however was a killer. I am a teacher in Tennessee, but did not buy the computer through the school or school district. I did however buy it for at least partial use in a classroom. Does anyone know if I can get my tax refunded or am I out of luck?

Out of luck probably. You'd have to declare it as an educational resource expense, but have to do that before a purchase. And you'd need a Federal Tax ID code from the school to get it.

Dell needs the tax info before you purchase. Make sure they know you are tax exempt before you buy, and be sure to reference that tax-exempt customer number when you order.
