    My speaker jack is broken and I need to open my laptop to see inside. But I'm worried, I don't have warranty and don't know how to open my laptop safely.
    Is there a step by step guide with pictures in doing it correctly?

    I am pretty good at disassembling laptops. But first follow the dell guide. That should be good enough :rolleyes:

    Ask a friend who knows what their doing to take a look at if for you. If you don't have those kind of friends, just head on over to a local computer repair shop. Most places will cover any damages that they cause on your machine and sometimes will throw something extra in for the inconvienience :). It may become pricy, but if you are that worried about it, it would probably put you at ease a bit to know that a professional is taking care of it.
