I'm comparing a T60 to an E1505 right now. The high price and good build of the T60 versus the moderately priced (with coupon) E1505, fully loaded. Tell me about your E1505:
How is your viewing angle with your screen?
Do you have truelife? Do you like it or dislike it? Why or why not?
What battery do you have, and why?
Any complaints about it (maybe specific to your laptop, like a hardware glitch, or something you've noticed with all E1505s?)
And, finally, a question unrelated to the E1505:
How is Dell's customer support nowadays? I've heard some people say it sucks, but I haven't heard much about it recently.

My viewing angle is about 100 degrees.
I have truelife. I love it because I can clean the screen easily.
I have the 6 cell with centrino and I get around 3-3 and a half hours depending on usage.
No complaints so far
The internet chat is so much better than on the phone. -
viewing angle on my SXVGA truelife screen isnt special, its readability remains but brightness levels change alot. A little but of a bummer but its still better then my last laptop and the screen is alot thinner then my lcd monitor.
6 cell battery, cost mainly and how many times i plan to use it off AC.
Complaints, none really, its been running like a dream. Maybe the lack of better video card options? I like it alot though, I use it for everything except high end gaming. -
Viewing Angle on e1505 1680x1050 is ~ 100 - 110 deg.
I've truelife and the screen is absolutely adorable. luckily i've very light leakage on my screen, and that too when observed closely. surfing/movies/everyday work - man this screen is very cute.
6 cell battery as i didnt want to add weight to the notebook (i need to carry it to college sometimes)
glitches: none whatsoever so far. i've seen a lot of people complaining about poor build of e1505, but here, i've no cranky noises, no soft spots, and the notebook does look somewhat "rigid". may be thats because this is my first notebook, but thats what i've noticed. 6400s look good too.
Customer care: havent had complainable problems yet. -
Viewing angles on mine are wide, and the 9-cell battery's weight isn't much more than the 6-cell, so it's comfortable for me to carry around as needed. The one complaint I do have, which is just nitpicky, is that the touchpad texture feels identical to that of the wristrests. Many times have I found myself wondering why I can't scroll through a web page only to discover my fingertip was rubbing the wristrest instead. Considering getting some vinyl stickers for the wristrests for aesthetics and to eliminate that problem.

Does the truelife screen increase viewing angle? I haven't had a laptop yet, but from what I've seen I prefer matte, but I would still like a wide viewing angle - would going to the 2nd best screen from Truelife still offer this?
