I need a good temperature monitoring utility that works under vista x64 on an Inspiron E1705 without issue. I used to use i8kfangui but it doesn't work properly unless you are in test mode. I actually need something that can run all the time. It should (hopefully) be able to read out all the sensors (memory, gpu, chipset, cpu (both cores), and hard drive). If not all of them then at least the cpu, hard drive, and gpu will be fine. I can use seperate programs but would like it to all be done under one program if possible.

    Thanks.

Hwmonitor would work; CoreTemp is great for monitoring Intel CPUs from the system tray.

Yes. That would work for me except that only the pro version actually supports the system tray. If I have to I would pay for it but I am hoping for another option...

EDIT: It supports the sensors in the systray... You exit the program window and the systray icons disappear.

I just installed the program and you have to minimize the program instead of closing it, and it will minimize right into the system tray.
