Okay, I'm OCD about two things in life. My car and my laptop. I've had my new car for about 11 months now. There isn't a single ding or scratch ANYWHERE on my interior. The interior is in immaculate/showroom condition. No, I do not get it detailed on a daily basis. However, I do clean it once every 3 days. Takes only 3 minutes max... I've applied this to my laptop, and it literally takes 10 SECONDS. Yep, that's right. 10 seconds. My secret? Get a high quality microfiber wash cloth from AutoZone. Look for one with that is NOT smooth. Rather, get one that resembles an everyday wash cloth/towel. Think terry cloth. I'm telling you... This thing is a miracle worker. Just like my interior, my D820 is ALWAYS dust, fingerprint and oil free. And all it takes is 10 seconds. Just lightly (very lightly) go over the entire notebook once a day/night. The microfiber cloth picks up dust, fingerprints and finger oil with super ease. And it doesn't scratch the plastic or the screen. Wipe it gently over the screen and it will always be perfect. I have yet to use a spray cleaner on my screen. Trust me, folks. It works. :D :D :D

I use that same technique ;)

Speaking of car products that work your your notebook, I've heard Rain-X works well for the screen ;)

I use an anti-static brush, it picks up dust quite nicely, since the fibers are very soft chances of scratching the screen is very low. I personally feel that using a soft anti-static brush is safer than using a cloth or a tissue paper. Since I never touch the screen fingerprints are not a big issue.

I'd be scared to try that. There's no telling what the results might be.

I use a micro-fiber clothe aswell, the one I use to clean my desktop 19'' LCD screen.
