    I'm still in boxing according to the automated order status but I got a email notification today that my order has been delayed until 9/5 and I had to call to let them know I still wanted it. When I got home from work there was a phone message from a woman I could barely understand but I think she said my order will ship on 8/31. Does Dell have any idea what it's doing? I am totally confused :confused:

    Here's a good one:
    When I was talking to the woman to let her know I still wanted my order I asked her if I was still in boxing. She said she couldn't find that information but she said she could connect to customer service. Then she said that they probably wouldn't know anything either :eek: Unbelievable.

    Anyone else get double delayed in one day? This morning i was pushed back a week to 9/5 but now it shows my ESD to be 9/24

    Same here, was delayed this morning to 9/5 and now it says 10/1. I had just talked to a CSR this morning who took personal ownership of my case and gave me free overnight shipping. When I later checked back to see whether my order status reflects the shipping upgrade (it does not) I noticed that it was delayed yet again :-(

    OH please let me be the president of this club....Ordered 1521 Spring Green on 7/26 with ESD of 8/14, ok...daughter leaves for college 8/17. On 8/14 they leave an automated message on the answering machine...it's now pushed back to 8/28. Again, I wait...and then...just like clockwork, I hear a ladies voice coming from the "little black box" with another automated message...this time...it's pushed back to 9/5. Ok, that's not good...so I call ...and i talk to Eduardo......................in the Phillipines..of all places. He's probably real sore right now considering i ripped him a new a**hole. So he's going to take $50 off the order...and oh...they charged me for the bluetooth....which was free to begin with...gotta take that off too...Now..after all this....I go to work....come home that night...check status...damn if it hasn't been moved to 9/10 now. So I'm back on the phone...the guy is surprised because I mention that I finally get to talk to someone who speaks English. He starts the apology with "it's the parts we're waiting on"....then suddenly out of nowhere comes..."it's the color" we're waiting on....wait...i think there's a big difference in parts and color. Who knows....they're probably getting the colors from China....beware...lead based paint...probably gonna make all of sick because we're so disgusted at them. Ok...now i've gotten him to take off $100...but wait...it gets better...........so i ask him if he can guarantee that the $100 will be credited to my account.....NO HE CAN'T.....he says he can only put in a request...he does not have anything to do with applying credit to accounts.....so all of you who think you're getting credit...........you're probably not....So..i'll keep trying...meantime...my daughter is going into her third week of nursing school without a laptop....thank you Dell for the wonderful service you have provided to your loyal customers who make sure you get a paycheck every week....DAMN MORONS....

    Oh, mine is better. I ordered 07/31 with ESD of 08/16, then got pushed back to 08/28 (received email on 08/17 about this), then got quietly pushed back to 09/05 (no email, no call), called the CSR who informed me that I was pushed back and if any further delays should occur the some specialized department is going to call me. One hour after this call my ESD was pushed back to 10/1 (silently, have not heard from Dell since). Of course I called again, and they did nothing but confirm to me that 10/1 is my ESD. They also told me that there is no reason for me to call them and that I can easily track my laptop on the website, where its clearly indicated that 10/1 is my ship date, so I do not need to call them yet.......

    2. I have proof of credit for $160.50 (10% of my already discounted order)
    3. I never ripped anyone a new orifice and got regular phone calls from upper-level management/damage control that consistently kept me in the loop
    4. Ok, I'll bet you'd never help me in a pinch. Why, because I just encroached on your personal ego. Translation, you just got done doing the same thing to a much larger extent. What's in it for Eduardo to help you? The satisfaction that he can hang up knowing that you gave yourself enough rope to hang yourself. :D

    Wow, I just checked my order and it shows it SHIPPED as of 09/01 and it was delivered to the hub in my area today 09/02 at 9:43pm. This sux though as its Laborday weekend and I won't be getting it for another day or so.
